Frequently asked questions about returns, refunds, and exchanges.

How do I return?

  • Just simply contact us and we will help you to return the item

*All returns for exchanges or refunds must be returned within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise. All the return Shipping Fees will be with customer*

What items are returnable? 

New Products:

The item must be in a brand new and unused condition with the original packaging. Return item in its original packaging with all contents within 30 days of receipt – No Exceptions. The order will be verified in our system upon refund/return request. The product and packing must be completely new and unused so that the product is able to be sold to another customer without question or concern about the integrity of the product. The product cannot have been previously installed. After we receive it, we will refund the cost of the item(s). Shipping to and from is not refunded. The returned items will be inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse refunds and/or exchanges of returned items if they are abused or under normal wear and tear condition. If your returned items are not in a brand new condition and original packaging a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted.


Used products: 

Based on our policy Used and Damaged product will not acceptable.

What items are non-refundable? 

 The following items cannot be returned:

  • Original Shipping Fees
  • Discounted items (if applicable)

The item I received is damaged!

If the purchased product is faulty, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivered date.

Can the items be exchanged?

We allow the exchange of purchased items for selectable variants. Once the exchange request is approved, the replaced item will be shipped to you. All the shipping fees will be with customer.

What are the refund options?

The following refund options are supported:

  • Refund to the original payment method
  • Refund to store credit (if applicable)

If there is a discrepancy with your order that is deemed to be caused by Modern Landscape Lighting (e.g. wrong item, quantity or defective), Modern Landscape Lighting will pay for any shipping cost associated with order resolution. Shipping costs associated with the exchange of items accurately delivered by Modern Landscape Lighting are the sole responsibility of the customer.

How do I ship back the items?

For instructions on how to ship the returned products, refer to the email received after placing the return request. We will not be responsible for any lost or damaged merchandise that has been shipped to us. 

How soon will I get my refund?

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via an email. You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 5 - 7 working days after approval.
